Kathryn began her career teaching at a private preschool in Weston, Massachusetts for three years. While teaching preschool, Kathryn earned her M.Ed. in Early Childhood at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After completing her degree, Kathryn went on to teach First Grade at a public elementary school in Andover, Massachusetts for eight years. During this time, Kathryn sought over 100 credits of continuing education in the area of Early Childhood curriculum.
After having her second child, Kathryn decided to take a Child Rearing Leave of Absence to focus on parenting. This September, Kathryn returned to teaching, at a public elementary school in Lynnfield, where she works with students struggling with specific math concepts in Third and Fourth Grade. She is thrilled to teach elementary-aged students again, but can’t wait for the opportunity to return to working with early childhood students!
